Wood Framing

Specializing in large wood framed projects both panelized and traditional stick-built framing.  North & South just completed a large multi-family residential panelized frame with a schedule that required framing production 20,000 sf a week to meet schedule.

FINISH CARPENTRY & MILLWORK INSTALL 

We have a crew dedicated to installing high-end finish carpentry and millwork installation.  Typically subcontracted by the Millwork Fabricator with projects ranging from Institutional, Commercial, and Hospitality.

CROSS LAMINATED TIMBER CONSTRUCTION (CLT)

North & South was contracted by Suffolk Construction for the erection of a four story Design School for UMASS Amherst.  The 87,000 sf building is believed to be the first of its size in the U.S. to use CLT as part of a composite wood-concrete floor assembly.

LIGHT GAUGE METAL FRAMING & DRYWALL

North & South provides complete framing, hanging and finishing of drywall per the project plans and specifications.  Our diverse range of drywall projects includes Multi-Unit Residential, Commercial, Institutional and Government projects.
